Overview
The unit is focused on developing confidence and capacity to make a positive impact on society through participating in, and leading, volunteering activities. It will focus on exploring conceptual frameworks and ideas that relate to volunteering work, while also exploring ways to apply these in practice.
Assessment
1 - Pre-volunteering reflection - (500 words) 2 - Practice journal - (2500 words) 3 - mpact (3000 words or equivalent)
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of asynchronous learning activities and independent study. (Minimum 24 hours placement).
