Overview

This unit is a multi-disciplinary unit that aims to build on your knowledge of business and/or design but with a focus on how you can use decision making frameworks to tackle difficult business and design problems. The unit provides you with the opportunity to demonstrate being critical and creative scholars and responsible and effective global citizens, and gain an understanding of multi-disciplinary decision-making in organisations. You will have the opportunity to address some difficult problems facing society and use frameworks from business and design to solve such a problem. You will develop and demonstrate your career-readiness in this unit.

Workload

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities.You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
