Overview
The unit draws together students from various levels of performance experience at pre-tertiary level and consolidates fundamental skills in ensemble performance. Students will develop reflective skills to refine their performance and prepare them for the next unit in the sequence, ATS1348 Ensemble studies 2.
Assessment
1 - Work In Progress 1 (Individual Mark) - 30% 2 - Reflective Journal(Individual Mark) - 20% 3 - Work in Progress 2 (Individual Mark) - 30% 4 - Assessment Task 4: Recorded Ensemble Performance (Ensemble Mark) - 20%
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
