Overview

The unit is designed to give you the historical background and conceptual tools to understand the origins of globalisation. It traces the key political, economic, and social developments since 1945 that have brought us to where we are today.

Assessment

1 - Analytical exercise - 20% 2 - Essay - 40% 3 - Reflection - 10% 4 - Take home final assessment - 30%

Workload

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
