Overview

Would you like to travel to the Netherlands to immerse yourself in Dutch culture (think clogs, cheese and Flemish art) but continue your course in English? Could learning Asian business skills in a local language, and a few games of tea house mahjong, improve your global career prospects? Gain a competitive edge against your peers by studying at the Pennsylvania State University, world-renowned for their research and teaching in atmospheric sciences. Maybe you want to soak up the Madrid sun, feast on tapas and polish your Spanish, while continuing your studies, or you might like to study alongside the scientists who played an integral role in the discovery of the Higgs Boson while exploring Israel's most dynamic and diverse city, Tel Aviv. As a Monash student, you can do all of this, and more, with an overseas exchange.

Program details

Semester dates in the southern hemisphere differ to those in the northern hemisphere - meaning that while semester one in Australia begins in March, in places like the UK the Spring term (their second semester) begins in January. Be sure to check the dates to make sure they align with your current program. Some of our partners also have additional requirements like minimum average results, and in some cases extra fees. Please make sure you view the partner institution's website and read their information carefully.

Program structure

While overseas on the exchange, you will 1. remain enrolled at your home Monash campus; 2. pay your normal fees at your home Monash campus; and 3. undertake units that will transfer directly to your home degree and appear on your Monash transcript.
